Is Mediation Fit For Purpose? Family Justice Council 7th Annual Debate

The Family Justice Council is holding its 7th Annual Debate and panel discussion at Lion Court Conference Centre, 25 Procter St, London, WC1V 6NY, between 5.30pm and 7.30pm on Tuesday 5 November 2013.

The event will be chaired by the Rt Hon Sir James Munby, President of the Family Division of the High Court, and Chairman of the Family Justice Council. The Speakers are:

Christina Blacklaws - Solicitor, Director of Family Law and Policy, Co-operative Legal Services; Member of the Family Justice Council

Sarah Lloyd - Dispute Resolution Director, Resolution - first for family law; Family Mediation Council

Dominic Raeside - Head of Mediation, Family Law in Partnership LLP; Member of the Family Justice Council

Professor Liz Trinder - Professor of Socio-Legal Studies, Exeter University

As there is likely to be a high demand and spaces are limited for this event it is advised that applications are made as soon as possible.  The Family Justice Council hopes to achieve a balanced and diverse audience and will aim to inform successful applicants by no later than Tuesday 29 October 2013.
