Private law children – Mother appealed against Special Guardianship Order in favour of the paternal grandparents.

The Court of Appeal dismissed the appeal but provided guidance for judges considering whether to make Special Guardianship Orders whether as an alternative to adoption or to a Child Arrangements Order.
