The Children Act 1989 (Contact Activity Directions and Conditions: Financial Assistance) (Revocation and Transitional Provision) (England) Regulations 2010

WED 17/03/2010 - These Regulations revoke the Children Act 1989 (Contact Activity Directions and Conditions: Financial Assistance) (England) Regulations 2008, which made provision enabling financial assistance to be paid by the Secretary of State in respect of an individual ordered or directed by a court in family proceedings to take part in an activity that promotes contact with a child (regulation 2(1)).

By way of transitional provision, financial assistance may be paid after 1 April 2010 in respect of individuals who took part in contact activities prior to 1 April 2010 (regulation 2(2)).
