(European Court of Human Rights; 14 November 2005) [2006] 1 FLR 522
The decision of the national court to suspend the father's access to his daughter had been made in the child's best interest, taking account of the parents difficult relationship which had put great strain on their child and had caused her to reject the father. The court had adduced relevant reasons to justify its decision, had gathered enough background information on which to reach a reasoned decision concerning the father's access to the child, and the procedural approach had been reasonable.
