The ratio of AL (Serbia) v Secretary of State for the Home Department [2006] EWCA Civ 1619 showed that the exclusion of those who had arrived in the UK as unaccompanied minors from the extension of the Family Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) Exercise was not discriminatory.
