(Family Division; Bodey J; 27 November 2009)
The father applied for the enforcement of a recognised foreign order. The mother applied for a new contact order. It was agreed by the parties that in reality this was a welfare decision, and not a question of enforcement. It was established that in Spain the father was a regular cocaine user and had physically abused the mother.
Judge enforced Spanish contact order and father is to have contact with the child in England every two months.
