Inordinate amounts of time and money are spent – wasted – in the process of drafting orders that could, and therefore should, be standardised. In 2013, I appointed a small drafting group under the determined leadership of Mostyn J to provide us with a comprehensive set of orders the use of which would in due course, I contemplated, become mandatory in the Family Court and the Family Division.
