New Practice Directions and amendments to existing Practice Directions

Sir James Munby, President of the Family Division, has issued two new Practice Directions, PD 2B and PD 38A, as well as amendments to existing PDs 2A, 5A, 7A and 30A. 

The new Practice Directions are as follows:

  • PD 2B - References in the Rules to Actions Done by the Court or by a Court Officer
  • PD 38A - Recognition and Enforcement of Protection Measures
The amendments to PD 2A and the new PDs 2B and 38A came into force on 11 January 2015. 

All remaining provisions come into force on 6 April 2015.
