Law Society Practice Note of 26 March 2013: Client Care Letters

Date:28 MAR 2013
Third slide
Senior Editor
On 26 March 2013, the Law Society issued a Practice Note giving guidance on producing client care letters.
Clients may find it helpful to have some information on the exact parameters of a retainer, along with any terms of business, written down so that they can refer to it at a later date.
However, if the information is unclear or important details not highlighted to the client then the value of the letter will be limited.
The Practice Note provides guidance on preparing client care letters that provide the right information to clients, along with suggested wording.
