FPR Practice Direction amendments – July 2015

The latest set of amendments to the Family Procedure Rules (FPR) Practice Directions have been issued by the President of the Family Division and the Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State.

The amendments coming into force on 17 July 2015 affect Practice Directions:
  • 3A (Family Mediation Information and Assessment Meetings (MIAMS));
  • 4A (Striking Out a Statement of Case);
  • 5A (Forms);
  • 12E (Urgent Business);
  • 12F (International Child Abduction);
  • 12G (Communication of Information); and 
  • 30A (Appeals).
The remaining amendments update Practice Direction 34E (Reciprocal Enforcement of Maintenance Orders – Designated Family Judge Areas) and come into force on 31 July 2015.
