The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) has issued an updated version of its welfare reform communications toolkit, which helps to explain how it is changing the welfare system.

The toollkit includes information about DWP policies and explains:
  • what is changing;
  • why the changes are being made; and
  • when the changes take effect.
The toolkit is in four parts:
The aims of the reforms include changing systems so that disabled people and pensioners are protected and supported and that separating or separated parents are encouraged and supported to work together in the best interests of their children.
