COSTS/ VULNERABLE ADULT: Re RC (Deceased) (Case No 11639140)

Part of the local authority's costs were awarded against a niece disputing the local authority care arrangements for a 90 year old vulnerable adult. The general rule was that no order as to costs in such proceedings. The District Judge was highly critical of the niece's conduct.

On appeal the judge set aside the costs order.
