The children were aged 6 and 10 had been conceived via artificial insemination. Both parents were in a same-sex relationships. Judgment given on parenting roles. The older child suffered significant emotional harm as a result of the breakdown in the relationship between the parents. The child was deeply hostile to the relationship between the parents had been affected to the extent that she was now refusing contact with her father. Contact ordered for one weekend stay per month with the father and his partner, one annual holiday and one special event per year in respect of the younger child, only indirect contact for the older child. The parents urged to cease litigation and encourage the older child to agree to contact. Contact order was only the default position, parents should agree own regime of contact in best interests of children.
