New private law cases received during September marks the highest monthly demand since March 2014

In September 2016, Cafcass received a total of 3,588 new private law cases. This is a 19% increase on September 2015 levels. In total Cafcass received 20,677 new private law cases between April and September 2016.

The latest year to date demand is 12.5% (2,296 cases) higher than April to September 2015 and 28.1% (4,537 cases) higher than April to September 2014.
