At the Family Law social event held in Bristol on 24 May, Lisa Parkinson, author of Family Mediation: Appropriate Dispute Resolution in a new family justice system, described the process of the new Mediation and Information Assessment Meetings.
Lisa is a family mediator and trainer, and a member of the Family Justice Council ADR Committee.
In the podcast, Family Law PSL Hayley Trim talks to Lisa about the practical steps involved in a MIAM, which, following the introduction of the Family Procedure Rules 2010, have become requirement for most parties initiating family proceedings.
