(Queen's Bench Division; Tugendhat J; 29 January 2010)
A sportsman sought to prohibit publication of any information concerning his personal relationship with another person, details of that relationship, including certain specific consequences, information leading to the identification of the man, or any photos evidencing or relating to fact or details of these matters.
The case considered the rights of privacy in relation to lawful private relationship given that confidentiality agreements had been signed by key individuals. Injunction granted while judge considered, but not renewed by judgment as damages would be sufficient protection.
