Article 4 of the Childcare Act 2006 (Commencement No. 2 and Savings and Transitional Provisions) Order 2007 (SI 2007/1019) brings into force the provisions in Part 3 (regulation of provision of Childcare in England) and Part 4 (miscellaneous and general) of, and Schedule 2 and 3 to, the Act. Section 32 of the Act is also brought into force in relation to the Part B register of childminders.

The Family Proceedings Fees (Amendment) Order 2007 (SI 2007/682) provides for an increase to the maximum gross annual income above which working tax credit will not be a qualifying benefit for the purposes of exemption from court fees.
