Kingsley Napley LLP has appointed Jane Keir as Senior Partner, making the firm the only top 100 UK law firm to have both a female Senior and Managing Partner. Alongside an Executive Management committee of seven, four of whom are women, Kingsley Napley are making huge strides in addressing the gender imbalance seen across many firms in the UK.

Jane Keir joined the firm in 1989, became a partner in 1992 and then became Head of Family Law in 1992. She will succeed Christopher Murray as Senior Partner, who is retiring after 43 years at the firm.

Charlotte Bradley will replace Jane Keir in the role of Head of Kingsley Napley LLP's Family Law practice.

Jane Keir has commented on what she aims to achieve during her 3-year tenure, stating that she wishes to ‘strengthen life-long relationships with our domestic and international clients and referrers; to demystify clients' engagement with the legal process; and to continue to ensure that the firm is a stimulating and rewarding place to work.'

Jane Keir will continue to practice as a family lawyer, combining her new role alongside client work.
