Guidance for court users has been updated in relation to the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.
Anyone suspected or confirmed to have the virus or in self-isolation in accordance with NHS guidance should contact the court they are due to attend.
Hand sanitiser will be allowed to be brought into courts but security officers will ask for it to be used to prove it its purpose and that it is not a dangerous substance. Security officers may also ask attendees to move items in their own bag.
Judges may consider video links in certain circumstances as the court system remains flexible to maintain access to justice.
