The Hon Mr Justice Mostyn has issued an amendment to the Financial Remedy Omnibus

The amendment has been issued to clarify a potential ambiguity in para 62(d) and (e). One reading might suggest that a claim under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975 was barred where the death of the payer occurred prior to the expiration of the term.

To address this issue, the Hon Mr Justice Mostyn has issued an amended para 62.
