(Coventry County Court; HHJ Clifford Bellamy; 24 August 2011)

Two foster carers applied for adoption orders in respect of the two children they had been fostering. The orders were supported by the birth parents, but opposed by the local authority and the guardian. The elder child had been living with foster carers since the child was 8 weeks old, and younger since birth. Final care orders and placement orders made for both children. The potential adopters found and on afternoon children were due to move permanently, the foster parents applied for adoption orders and revocation of placement orders.
