Further to the publication in the May edition of Family Law at [2008] Fam law 431 of the Family Justice Council (FJC) Voice of the Child Sub-Group's 'Enhancing the Participation of Children and Young People in Family Proceedings', the Council is holding a debate and panel discussion to be chaired by the President of the Family Division. The event will take place in the Parliament Room at the Inner Temple in Central London, on 20 October, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm.

Participants so far confirmed include: Mr. Justice Hedley, Professor Sir Al Aynsley Green (Children's Commissioner for England), Anthony Douglas, (Chief Executive of Cafcass), Lucy Theis, (Chair of the FLBA) and Dr. Danya Glaser, Consultant Child Psychiatrist. The event will carry CPD points.
