Cafcass publishes January 2014 statistics

Cafcass have published their care demand and private law demand statistics for January 2014.

The statistics reveal that Cafcass received a total of 883 care applications in January 2014 - this figure represents a 9% decrease compared to those received in January 2013.      

The numbers also show that Cafcass received a total of 3,343 new private law cases - a 13% decrease on January 2013 levels.
