These guidelines provide instruction of medical experts from overseas in family cases and have been produced by the Experts Committee of the Family Justice Council. There are a number of issues relating to the regulation of overseas experts and to the need to have a clear understanding of their qualifications and credentials, as well as the applicability of their expertise to the UK context, which are addressed in this guidance.
