Twelve percent increase in private law cases received by Cafcass in November

Figures released by Cafcass show that, in
November 2015, the number of private law cases received by Cafcass
increased by 12% from November 2015 levels. A total of
3,462 new cases were received.
Between
April 2014 and
March 2015 Cafcass received a total of
34,133 new private law cases. This figure shows a
decrease of 27% from the
46,636 cases received in the previous financial year.
