New private law cases received by Cafcass in June rise by 33 per cent, year on year

In June 2015, Cafcass received a total of
3,466 new private law cases. This is a
33% increase on June 2014 levels.
May 2014 was the lowest number of new cases ever recorded for Cafcass.
Between
April 2014 and
March 2015 Cafcass received a total of
34,218 new private law cases.
This figure shows a decrease of
27% from the
46,636 cases received in the previous financial year.
