Hanson Renouf announce free family law sessions

Date:4 JAN 2013
Journals Manager + Online Editor

Following the demand of previous years, the family law department at Hanson Renouf is running free family sessions throughout the months of February and March 2013. The sessions will enable individuals to seek confidential legal information regarding family law matters from a qualified lawyer.

The aim of the sessions is to help people resolve their family law problems and disputes in an amicable and conciliatory way, offering a dynamic variety of collaborative law, mediation and traditional court based solutions, and advise which method would be the most appropriate for individuals.

The appointment-only information sessions will be held in the Hanson Renouf offices at 12 Hill Street and will take place each Thursday evening between the hours of 5.30 pm and 7pm.

Hanson Renouf's head of family law, Advocate Barbara Corbett, explained:

'The high demand for the sessions in January and February last year, which covered separation, divorce and children matters, encouraged us to extend the service to those who may require our assistance this year. We emphasise that divorce is not the only option, but if it is, it does not have to mean heading to court - we always encourage the use of collaborative law where possible.'

To book one of the half-hour appointments please telephone Jamie-Lee on (01534) 767764 or email jamie-lee.morgan@hansonrenouf.com. We ask anyone attending one of the appointments to consider making a £5.00 donation to the firm's chosen charity, Brighter Futures, a charity which helps families.
