Counting down to the Bristol Legal Walk

Date:2 AUG 2017
Third slide

The Jordan Publishing/LexisNexis team is looking forward to taking part in the 2017 Bristol Legal Walk on Monday 18 September.

The walk raises funds for the South West Legal Support Trust (SWLST). As the impact of legal aid and public funding cuts continues to bite, funds raised by the SWLST provide valuable support for legal advice charities in the south-west, who provide free legal advice and support to some of the most vulnerable in our community.

We know how valuable the work of legal advice charities is for disadvantaged people. Advice agencies do a fantastic job in preventing homelessness, resolving debt problems, gaining care for the elderly and disabled and fighting exploitation.

We also know how short they are of the funds to continue that work.

The money we raise will help keep the agencies operating and try to ensure their services are as effective as possible.

Please support our walkers as generously as  you are able.

Thank you in advance for your generosity, it means a lot.
