Care applications received by Cafcass in May 2016 increase by 23%

In May 2016, Cafcass received a total of 1,141 care applications. This figure represents a 23% increase compared to those received in May 2015.
Between April 2015 and March 2016 Cafcass received a total of 12,758 applications.This figure is 14% higher when compared in the previous financial year, when 11,159 applications were received.The full figures are available on the Cafcass website.
