The Parental Responsibility and Measures for the Protection of Children (International Obligations) (Scotland) Regulations 2010 No. 213

These regulations implement in relation to Scotland the Convention on Jurisdiction, Applicable Law, Recognition, Enforcement and Co-operation in respect of Parental Responsibility and Measures for the Protection of Children that was signed at The Hague on 19 October 1996 ("the Convention").

These regulations make amendments to existing provisions and new provisions deemed desirable to facilitate the working of the Convention in the Scottish legal system.

These regulations come into force come into force on the day on which the Convention enters into force for the United Kingdom.
