The guidance, which will mostly be of relevance in the Royal Courts of Justice, has been approved by judges of the Family Division and the Cafcass High Court Team.
It will assist practitioners handling cases that involve the 1996 Convention on Jurisdiction, Applicable Law, Recognition, Enforcement and Co-Operation in Respect of Parental Responsibility and Measures for the Protection of Children, which came into force for England on 1 November 2012.
