The father applied for a change of residence in of respect of his two sons, aged 10 and 8. The mother had two further children by different fathers and was in a new relationship. The mother had not been supportive of contact with the father and there were concerns that she had influenced the children's views of their father and their reluctance to see him.
The court made a conditional residence order in favour of the father. Should the two further 10-day staying contacts during the summer holidays not take place, residence would be transferred to the father.
